Ansar forces recovered drugs worth one and a half crores in Chapainawabganj

These were recovered during the duty of Ansar forces in front of Chapainawabganj Zilla Parishad late on Saturday (August 10). District Commandant of Ansar-VDP Shariful Islam confirmed the matter.


According to related sources, a team consisting of FS Masud Rana under the guidance of Chapainawabganj District Commandant Shariful Islam and led by Circle Adjutant Salim Raza chased some miscreants in front of the District Council at around 1 o'clock on Saturday, and they left the bag and ran away. After searching inside the bag, 9 packets of 1 kg 300 grams of heroin, 25 packets of 10,000 pieces of Yaba, 37 mobile phones, 42 notes of Indian Rupees 500 and 40 notes of Bangladeshi Rupees 500 were recovered.


This Saturday morning Chapainawabganj army camp, 9 was handed over to Bir Bogra cantonment. (CO) Lt. Col. Mr. Shantanu Raj Chowdhury, Lt. Mr. Sajid, Lt. Mr. Siam were present. Also present were Sadar Upazila Ansar-VDP official Tajinur Islam, Mahmud Sultan (U, I), Dalpati Byron Ali.
